Beach bridal shoot with Kay

When you have amazing people in your life you are guaranteed to meet more amazing people all the time. Thats how I felt when my friends Niki and Dallon introduced me to Kay Weathers. I had the pleasure of photographing Kay and her husband Jay's wedding this past month. A few weeks before the wedding Kay and her mom joined me for a tour of James Island and Folly beach and I was albe to photograph Kay in her gorgeous gown.  I love a good story and this gown had such a sweet story I was so inspired. This  special gown was passed down to Kay from her mother and her sister had also been married in it. After a few alterations to give it her own touch, this gown was ready to walk down the aisle one more time another.  What a beautiful gift to wear the gown your mother wore when she married your father. And what an especially beautiful family! 

I had such a wonderful evening with Kay and her mother. The sunsets in Charleston never disappoint and we were blessed with a gorgeous evening on the beach.
